Charlie Cohen, Founder
Charlie has spent more than fifteen years walking families through one of the most difficult decisions they will ever make. He founded Haven because he believed Los Angeles families deserved better than a national hotline — they deserved someone who actually knew the buildings, the staff, and the difference between a glossy brochure and the real day-to-day care.
He has personally toured nearly every assisted living, memory care, and independent living community on the Westside and across the San Gabriel Valley. He knows the directors by name, knows which communities deliver, and knows which ones to walk past.
Most of all, he treats every family the way he would want his own mother treated — patiently, honestly, and with the time the decision deserves.
